Of course, we could not possibly cover every point or query on our website, but here are a few questions that we are frequently asked.

The answers are broad in nature and we would always encourage you to ask any question in person, it is surprising how many times a good question starts a great conversation.

We are a startup – can you help us with all the initial formalities associated with Auto Enrolment?

Of course we can. Whilst we don’t influence your decision as to which pension scheme you are going to select, we can point you in the direction of schemes which are appropriate to the size of your business. We will enrol your employees into your scheme and complete your Declaration of Compliance and ensure that you continue to remain compliant.

How do we deal with transferring the pension scheme administration from our current payroll provider to Pay-Nex?

Our service includes everything from liaising with our clients to ensure that the take over process runs smoothly, processing the payroll and pension contributions, processing new starters and leavers, issuing of P45’s, uploading pension contributions to the pension provider, completing the Declarations of Compliance, tax year end processing, contacting HMRC when necessary on our clients’ behalf and making submissions to HMRC.  And when surprises occur, such as the recent Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, we manage all the complex calculations and deal with any claims.

What pension schemes do you deal with?

We make the process as seamless as possible, if you are transferring from another service provider we will deal with them directly, once we have your authorisation and we have yet to encounter a professional company that does not respond appropriately to a polite request.

If you are moving to Pay-Nex from an in-house situation, we will take every bit as much care to act with complete professionalism and discretion in dealing with your team.

Do you manage the monthly transmission of pension data to the pension provider?

We like to think that our 98% client retention over many years of service points to an exceptionally reliable service.

How secure will our data be?

In a word, very. Our Cyber Essentials  Certification demonstrates our commitment to the cyber safety of the personal data of every person and business that touches Pay-Nex. Our systems are robustly and independently tested, and we work closely with our IT partners, nTrust Systems
