Dena
Over 40 years-experience in the business of payroll processing must surely qualify Dena Dixon, owner of Pay-Nex as something of an expert in the field?
Pay-Nex was formed as a company in 2015, and prior to this Dena had worked in senior finance management at Coast Hotels and Leisure Ltd, a business set up by Dena’s father and her brothers in 1976. As Finance Director and Company Secretary, responsibilities included the operation of all accounting procedures including payroll and auto-enrolment, as well as involvement in the day to day operation of a thriving hotel group.
As if the family business was not enough, Dena also found time for a position as Managing Director at Berkeley Scott Venues from 1986 to 2006 bringing her extensive knowledge and hospitality experience to the world of venue search and incentive travel. Major clients included a high profile motor manufacturer, where dealing with all ‘the hoopla and egos’ involved in new model launches certainly kept things interesting.
Throughout a career in senior management and at board level Dena has stayed loyal to a guiding principle that business should be done ‘the right way’, and it is no coincidence that Pay-Nex confidently states that

Beverley
Every business should have a Beverley, hugely experienced in a number of industries, a person of integrity and commitment to service, somebody that acts with a calm authority, unflappable and dependable.
Sadly for everyone else, they can’t have her. Luckily for Pay-Nex clients, you get a share.
A ‘lifetime’ working in accounts and payroll Beverley has worked in and on behalf of hotel and leisure groups, nursing care providers and membership services among others, experience that has benefitted our clients for over 15 years, latterly as our Payroll Manager.
Shy, retiring and humourless are just some of the words never used about Beverley.
